Jamaica is like no other destination. The island's natural diversity and beauty results from a topography which is an explorer's dream - with altituted ranging from sea level to lofty peaks of the Blue Mountain Range soaring to 7,402 feet.
While visiting Jamaica, discover the delights of Kingston, the pulsating capital city, with its wonderful culture and history; the lush Port Antonio with its natural simplicity; Ocho Rios, a tropical playground of jungle vegetation and waterfalls; Montego Bay with glorious resorts, championship golf courses and stately plantation houses; Negril with its seductive beaches, rugged cliffs and laid-back lifestyle; Mandeville's quiet country charm and the untamed South Coast.
Kingston, Jamaica
Kingston is the city of the arts. It is a city filled with history - the acient and the avant-garde, the timeless and the trendy. Kingston is the cosmopolitan center of Jamaica and the Caribbean.
Built over a span of three centuries, Kingston blends old colonial structures with new, stylish high-rises. Sprawling across over 40 square miles, the city of Kingston Jamaica is cradled between the towering Blue Mountains and the Caribbean Sea's largest harbor - Kingston Harbour.
Port Antonio, Jamaica
Located between the misty Blue Mountains and the deep blue Caribbean Sea, along Jamaica's most beautiful northeast coast, lies Port Antonio, which is just two hours from Kingston and four hours from Montego Bay.
The topography of Port Antonio is a mix of craggy coastlines, towering mountains, lush hillsides, and patches of white-sand beaches. Port Antonio is considered the most lush and green part of Jamaica Island.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Ocho Rios is considered the fairest of all Caribbean destinations. There is much to see and do, and the countryside is exceptionally pretty. The stretch from Ocho Rios to Runaway Bay and Discovery Bay, nearly 30 miles, is noted for spectacular attractions, soothing beaches and tropical gardens and is a popular setting for weddings and honeymoons.
Located approximately midway along Jamaica's north coast, Ocho Rios is a land where lush mountainsides sweep down to the cobalt blues of the Caribbean Sea. Ocho Rios itself is a bustling town with its downtown that wraps around the half-moon-shaped Mallards Bay. The area is busy during the daytime, especially when cruise ships come to port.
Montego Bay, Jamaica
Montego Bay is Jamaica's second largest city and is first among vacation destinations. Renowned for its beauty and outdoor activities, Montego Bay is the complete resort town. Montego Bay, or MoBay, runs 15 miles along the northwestern coast, which is kissed by turquoise waters, pretty white beaches and an endless variety of restaurants and attractions.
Negril, Jamaica
Negril is positioned along Jamaica Island's western tip and offers stunning views of the sea and the sunsets. Bask on beaches, or travel to secluded coral cliffs on the West End. From Negril Point southward, the coastline curves inward to form Long Bay, home of the world-famous Seven Mile Beach where soft white sand stretches as far as the eye can see.
Let the Caribbean Rythm of Jamaica soothe you.
