Vacationers looking to travel to The Bahamas will find plenty of ways to get there. Since The Bahamas is so close to the the United States, U.S. travelers can sail or fly themselves to the islands. Visitors who aren't quite so adventurous, or who hail from other countries, have plenty of other options.
Daily flights arrive at the main airports in Freeport and Nassau. Scheduled and charter flights are also available to airports on many of the smaller islands. These flights are easy to find and make island-hopping a breeze.
Other visitors travel via cruise ship to take in one or many of the islands during their stay. Whether they're traveling from island to island on a longer cruise, or just staying in port for the day, they'll have plenty to explore in The Bahamas.
